These courses grew out of my Novel Druid by Michael Conneely: all about how Saint Patrick did a forty days’ retreat on the top of nearby Croagh Patrick Mountain, visible from just up the road here. During the retreat, he fought Corra the Goddess and spirt of the local land, and he consigned her to the lough below the mountain – or so he thought: Lough na Corra. And we can indeed go to see the Rolling Sun phenomenon which occurs twice a year there and we can restore Goddess Corra to her sacred Land.
Other Druid Course options include: The Four Sacred Weapons of the Tuatha Dé Danann, Irish Druid Mystical Energy Work such as: such as the Cauldron of Poesy, the Well of Segais and the Cup of Cormac. There is the healing and empowerment meditation and ritual of the ancient Irish Druids: The Three Cauldrons where we envision three cauldrons with our body: abdomen, heart and head. These were called the Cauldrons of Poesy. The Nine ‘Elements of the Self’ (Duile) – and their levels of correspondences, there’s work with the sacred energies of place: Connection to the Land-Sea-Sky, and Earth Energies. And of course, the Eight Great Festivals: The Fire Festivals: Samhain, Imbolc, Beltain and Lughnasadh; and the Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox.
And of course you can come on tours to the very ancient Irish Sacred Sites within an hours’ of here: Carrowmoor, Carrowkeel, the site of the Battle of Moytura and Rathcroghan.
