Study the Ogham today with Michael Conneely
The Ogham is magical and deeply felt. It is stunning and tantalising. The Ogham is very old. Its date of origin is unknown as nothing of the Druid wisdom system was made a note of. However the earliest inscriptions that have survived are nearly two thousand year old, and there is excellent evidence for the ogham possibly being several hundred years older than that, and undeniably Irish in its source and provenience.
Central to our understanding is that each Ogham alphabet letter or ‘Few’ represents the spirit and energy of a tree. But each Few is also a path that run across or between the Celtic Otherworlds which are different, in some cases overlapping states of consciousness which are inhabited by their own beings, for example these realms include the famous Tir na N’Og, the land of the fountain of youth, or Magh Mell: the state of Abundance, The Plane of Delight.
The Ogham’s consciousness is very non-lateral, mystical and attractive. It is very different from the energy of the Runes, which I also teach, which is more a will-based system. Both, however, significantly have their very different special power and home.
The courses are fully worldwide, and they are also based at our Healing Centre in the West of Ireland which is near so many ancient Irish sacred sites of the greatest beauty and powerful earth energies.

Here’s a video about a beautiful crannog lake village which is only five miles from our Healing Centre and airbnb:
This beautiful Crannog was a defensive site protecting the work of the Iron Age Smiths who discovered iron ore here which was upthrust to surface hills surrounding the lake in the creation of a rare Ice Age Pingo topography: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pingo
Hear all about this very special feature in the video:
We would like to thank Christy Lawless for his archaeological work on the Crannog:
And also for his championing of discovery of how Iron Age Irish cooking pits or Fulachta Fiadh were actually used:
