Moytura Battle Ireland’s Iliad

Moytura Battle Ireland’s Iliad

Please bear with the occasional wind noise during the group’s working in late January at the battlefield of the Second Battle of Moytura.

The earth energies and the vision of the ancient Irish Gods makes the whole event so powerful, beautiful and special.

Such a lot was channelled. Members felt they had such a lot to share.

The group was left with such a sense of the truth that The Book of Invasions is Ireland’s equal to the Greek’s Iliad.

It is Ireland’s equal to the Indian Vedas.

It is the Equal of The Matter of Britain that brought to us the great King Arthur, and the druid magician who made his greatness possible: Merlin.

Like these three others, it brings down to us through time, a Golden Age, when Gods walked the earth through their Avatars and emanations.

The Book of Invasion was written by medieval monks, but it preserved epic history that came down from the iron Age of a time when Gods walked the earth.

The medieval monks could not really encompass the greatness of the Beings, nor the divine power of the materials they were writing about, but they could not diabolise the Tuatha de Danaan too much for fear of upsetting the Irish nobles who, let’s face it, were paying the monastic scriptoria for the great tale, and demanded enough truth to the Epic which hitherto had come down through oral transmission of Druids and Bards.

And so, we have to see past the monks horrible caricaturising of the great Good God, the Dagda.

Just as we have to see past all the modern caricaturising of the great ethical War Goddess of the ancient Irish that goes on: The great Morrigan.

You can work on making genuine authentic personal vision connection to these great Gods and Goddesses of the ancient Irish through the courses of my Druid Forest School:

Find your own true and life-giving connection with the true nature of The Morrigan, the Ethical Defender of our Sovereignty, and also of The Dagda, the giving, sexual, warrior, regenerative Good God.

And it is their relationship that perpetuated the sacred people of the Tuatha de Danaan. It was their mating at Samhain, and every Samhain, that assured the Tuatha de Danaan victory. It is this relationship of sacred Feminine and Sacred Masculine that is the true nature of these two great beings, and their true gift to modern people.

Now is the time to see and benefit from their dignity, their beauty and their gift to us.

They are the God and Goddess of the Sacred Land, and they renew it and give it power at their annual mating astride the River Unshin which flows from Loch Arrow to its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean next to Carrowmore (which itslef includes a huge Samhain alignment of the central tomb: Listogil).

Meeting and developing visionary connection with the Gods and goddess of the Tuatha de Danaan is more and more possible.

They, themselves,  retreated to the mounds and barrows after the coming of the Milesians, perceiving that humanity could only caricaturise and devalue them.

But now following W B Yeats and Lady Gregory and the Celtic revival, the time is right for their message and their beauty and specialness to be heard and seen again.

We also meet Manannan, the eerie God of the sea and its tides and mists, Ogma, the warrior who invented writing, Llugh: Lord of the Harvest of our talents.

Once again Corra will be restored to her sacred mountain from where she was thrown in 432 to be consigned to the Loch below the mountain.

The Four treasures of the Tuatha de Danaan fully radiate their power and beauty again. once more we walk the Ogham pathways and sense the Celtic Otherworlds.

We meet once more Boann, Oengus Og.  Many are meeting and learning to understand the Irish hero Fionn mac Cumhall, leader of the warrior band: the Fianna.

We can feel the sacred energies placed in the ground and the rocks at Carrowmore, Carrowkeel, Ben Bulben, the dragon energies in the mountain now called Croagh Patrick, and so many more sacred places of Ireland.

There’s the purity and force of Brigid’s Imbolc fire. And we grow in understanding Danu, the Mother of them all. There’s the Healers: Dian Cecht, Miach and Airmed. We seek to meet and learn: who was great Ernmas? And what is the nature of the triple Goddess?

Prepare for Spring Equinox Festival

Prepare for Spring Equinox Festival

This is one of the eight great Festivals of the year. Here is a list with typical dates:

There are the four Celtic Fire Festivals of:
Samhain              Nov 1st (October 31st)
Imbolc                  Feb 1st / 2nd
Beltain                 May 1st
Lughnasadh        Aug 1st

And there are the four Cross-Quarter solar Festivals of:
Winter Solstice                 Dec 21st
Spring Equinox                 Mar 21st
Summer Solstice              Jun 21st
Autumn Equinox              Sep 21st

The Spring Equinox, or Vernal Equinox, known in the Welsh Druid Tradition as Alban Eilir, occurs when the Sun enters the tropical zodiac sign of Aries on or around March 21st.  It marks the time where the day’s length for the first time equals the length of the night. And from this time on, the days will get longer than the nights, until the day of the Summer Solstice, the longest day, around June 21st.

The key energy of the Spring Equinox is therefore the power and standing of the Sun, and the defeat, banishing and diminishment of Winter and darkness.

And in celebrating the growing power of the Sun, we celebrate the growing solar power in ourself, the ending of the more inward time of winter in our lives, and the appearance of new life on the earth: green leaves bursting everywhere, lambs and flowers, ploughing and planting in full swing. And in human culture: contests and games.

But in celebrating this we also honour the principle of divine cycles, and of the underlying important of Balance.

In terms of the ancient Irish, little has survived of the celebration of the Spring Equinox Festival because it got overlayed by the Catholic Easter, sand three Celtic Saints’ Days: Saint Patrick, Saint David and Saint Piran.

But as a pointer to the ancient recognition of this point in the yearly Sun-cycle,  many Irish ancient monuments of the Neolithic and Bronze Ages are aligned to  the Solstices, and one at least to the Spring Equinox: Lough Crew Cairns, near Oldcastle, County Meath, which are two hours east from Foxford or an hour west from Dublin. Lough Crew was built about 3,200 BC, has alignment to the solstices as well, but on either equinox, the Sun rises in the same place and illumines down a passage on to the carvings on the passage back stone

So the Spring Equinox celebration needs to include the following factors. Start to plan from say the end of February which you will do and when. Plan how and when you will take these steps. Some might be appropriate to work with as the Festival approaches. All will be pulled together on the day of your Festival Celebration Ritual. Keep a record. Go through your planning with me. Share with me afterwards how the celebration ritual went: what it achieved, what steps need to be taken to implement and consolidate the ‘new You’ start to choose and develop your focuses for the celebration, to support your healing, transformation and empowerment:

The Sun: Celebration of the Sun, his nature and the fact of his rise in powered and brightness, inspiration and life-giving. We can visualise and share in his rise from the new-born Sun of the Winter Solstice, to the child of Promise, to, now: the young King:  Arthur or Fionn: The Mabon in Welsh druid path.

The Earth: Make contact with and celebrate the consequences for the earth and life on earth of the new power of the Sun. we visualise the growing abundant giving of the Earth under the light of the Sun, from the barrenness of Winter, to the first snowdrops of Imbolc to now the first flowers, buds and catkins; The lambs, the calves; the new births. The life-giving Goddess. Sovereignty.

Plan your ritual place:
Choose the place: in nature preferably.
Sense the energies of the place you choose: The Irish Celts saw a soul in everything, Interlapping Otherwords. Spirts of place. Great Energies placed in the Earth by the Earth Shapers.
How will you deck the altar or the site? What physical arrangement will need to be put in place?
Develop in a shared way a little timetable of parts you might want to include n the ritual. But no scripted speeches, and allow for authenticity of personal expression and breakthrough. Allow for the unexpected. If your celebration is in a group, some members might want to take responsibility for preparation for a certain facet of the celebration.

Festival Preparations:
Plan the preparations and the parts of the ritual itself: visualising, energy work, food and drink. Start to prepare from end of February onwards. As always, before and during the ritual, it is good, healing and empowering to greet the risen Sun, to shire the fact that you too will rise, and to honour the four quarters and what each gives to your body and your life, and to honour Land, Sea and Sky.

Focuses for your Preparation and for the Festival Celebration:

Your Body: Vision and Energy work: Check out your own body energies and decide if changes are needed:
Lie down and visualise yourself under the rise of the strengthening Sun. scan your body energies. Note impressions you receive of illness, disease, weakness and strength. Do you need healing? Do you need changes in lifestyle in the light of what you see?
Soak up the rays and warmth of the Sun using your visionary eye. Allow the needed movement of the Sun energies through your body. Direct your body energies to this end.

Your Life: Create a space to take stock on your life: to meditate or vision-journey on the personal questions related to this rise in the Sun, namely:
Where have I been putting my energies, and do I need to re-focus because of the rise of the light and the longer days and warmer weather?
Do I need to move from a more inward to a more outward period of my life?
Do I need to increase my power and the expression of my vitality and talents?
Do new directions, values and attitude need to arise now in my life. Do I need to create new planning and strategy?
And are there things I should let die?
Do vision journey with this intention. See what arises to your mind.

Your Solar Self: See how you were before the ritual, and how you are after it. Visualise your intention of who you will become. Make a transition to health and healing. Leave sense of woundedness behind as the Sun rises to his glory. Afterwards it can be a good idea to draw before and after and share the drawings with loved ones, Group members, etc.

Fight between light and darkness: your celebration could include recognition of the fight between light and darkness, maybe even the fight between the Winter King and the Summer King. Maybe a game or contest between human contestants representing the two sides, with Light destined to win: this time! Light crosses the goal-line this day! With the light now arising triumphant, and all the new life now emerging on the earth: food, flowers, and the altar can be decked accordingly.

So these are the factors. On my course, you can make your plans with me before the Festival ritual, you can share the results, and I cross-refer to your western and Vedic Astrology: the destinies and psychological drives in your natal astrology, and the energies of the current time in your predictive astrology.

Preparing for your Shamanic Journey

Basically, as a shaman you develop the power to contact the non-ordinary worlds.

You journey by trance, maybe blindfold.
You useTrance Drumming  –  or rattle or chant or whistle or use CD
You use a quite place, smudged or purified.
As a Shaman, you access different worlds, very flexibly defined as:
Upper world: seeking teachers/guides.
Middle world: portals, sacred energies places, woods, spirits of place.
Lower  Animal helpers, spirit guides.
Entering these three realms, might involve walking towards the World Tree, and choosing whether to go up to the upper realm or down through the roots to the Lower World.

State your intention as you embark on your journey – but don’t be bound by expectation or purpose

You may meet animals, spirits, guides, gods, guardians: You may Speak to, Get help from, Get healing from those you meet.

In your Journey: you can seek   vision, Healing, Removal of intrusion, Soul retrieval (maybe involving Inner Child Work or Family Constellation Work, Curse removal, Fort Holder work, Power animal retrieval, Shape shifting (see quote 1 below), Cleansing, Use of talisman, Contact earth energies – channel from them, Heal an animal, Chakra Healing.

Arrangement for return is important.

Here is a video on the subject of Preparing for your Shamanic Journey:

Contact with Nature is essential: The Web of life: I greet the rising sun over the hills each morning, the sunrise, The four directions, Land, sea and sky

The Shamanic Journey is different from Mysticism because it involves being active in journeying, healing

Avoid:   rules, Conceptual over-analysis, the effect of academics/bureaucrats/psychology

Get someone to journey for you if you are too involved in the issue

Develop: Fire in the Head  (See Quote 2 below), strengthen The Cauldrons of inspiration, Enter the Hollow Lands.

Quote 1: The Song of Amergin:

I am Wind on Sea,
I am Ocean-wave,
I am Roar of Sea,
I am Stag of Seven Tines,
I am a Hawk on a Cliff,
I am shining tear of the Sun,
I am Fairest among Herbs,
I am Boar for Boldness,
I am Salmon in Pool,
I am a Lake on a Plain,
I am a Hill of Poetry,
I am a Word of Skill,
I am the Point of a Weapon (that pours forth
I am God who fashions Fire for a Head.
Who knows the secrets of the
Unhewn Dolmen?
Who (but I) announces the Ages of the Moon?
Who (but I) know the place where falleth
the Sunset?
Who calls the Cattle from the House of Tethra?
On whom do the cattle of Tethra smile?
Who is the troop, the god who fashions edges
in a fortress of gangrene?
(I am) a Song on a Spear,
an Enchantments of Wind.

Quote 2: The Song of Wandering Aengus by WB Yeats:I went out to the hazel wood,

Because a fire was in my head,
And cut and peeled a hazel wand,
And hooked a berry to a thread;
And when white moths were on the wing,
And moth-like stars were flickering out,
I dropped the berry in a stream
And caught a little silver trout.
When I had laid it on the floor
I went to blow the fire a-flame,
But something rustled on the floor,
And someone called me by my name:
It had become a glimmering girl
With apple blossom in her hair
Who called me by my name and ran
And faded through the brightening air.
Though I am old with wandering
Through hollow lands and hilly lands,
I will find out where she has gone,
And kiss her lips and take her hands;
And walk among long dappled grass,
And pluck till time and times are done,
The silver apples of the moon,
The golden apples of the sun.

Healing Example 1 : Animal:

15-years old dog got very weak, barely walking around the house, he had blood running from his nose and ear. The vet said that he might have cancer. Made offering of a handful of grain to the spirits asking them to help him heal dog. Drummed above head of dog. With The singing and drumming I was sending thoughts and healing energy. Called upon my power animal, stag, and i “entered” into the dog’s head. After half an hour, I started singing without the drum and with my hands I was “pulling out” the dog’s illness through nose. I “threw it out” in a river and thanked the spirits for helping me. After 2 day’s strong bleeding through nose started and piece of flesh came out of the nose 10 cm long.

Healing Example 2 : Chakra healing:

I scanned the body and felt tense energy and painful emotions above the Heart centre. When I meditated more on the Heart Chakra, I saw a huge encasing concrete round cylinder (about 1 metre in diameter and 1 m high) on the chest. I invited a spirit animal to help me remove the heavy cylinder. I saw him threw it in a volcano and earthquake destroyed it. I saw healing light, sunlight and green flowers planted in the Heart chakra. I felt this horrible encasing concrete thing was a negative programme or energy that blocked the energies from flowing freely, especially from the 2nd to the 4th chakra. Now the client became “open” to the world. She could give and receive, send love. I swept the negative energy from the aura and filled with divine light.

Healing Example 3: Talisman:
Took all the hostile belittle scripts that my family are sending me all my life. Put them into a talisman: a triangle of three twigs that I made and bound together. Buried the triangle in the earth at the foot of the statue of a great hero.

Two Big Discoveries about the Truth of Chiron

Two Big Discoveries about the Truth of Chiron

Chiron is the Wounded Healer. He accurately depicts our Existential Wound – and in the Healing of our Existential Wound, we can become the Healer of Others.

Chiron’s energy is now made available to us through a planetoid discovered 1st November 1977, at 10.00 am, at Pasadena, California, by Charles Kowal.

Looking at the astrology chart for the moment of Chiron’s discovery, western and Vedic Astrologer, Michael Conneely, wants to share two discoveries he just made that amazed him: two discoveries which to Michael’s mind prove even more clearly the TRUTH of Chiron’s nature as the Wounded Healer in our astrology birth chart. Here’s what Michael discovered:

The first of these great discoveries that to my mind confirm the truth of the healing nature of Chiron, is that the position of Chiron in the heavens, at the moment of his discovery, was in Ashwini Nakshatra. Ashwini is the first of the powerful accurate and beautiful 27 Lunar Signs used by Vedic Astrology (as well as the Vedic astrology 12 Sun signs). And it is NOT coincidence that the myth of Ashwini too is about sexual panic being the root of a wound, about a stallion and horse nature being associated with the event of the wound, and about the creation of a powerful rapid wound-healing response, in that the twin Healers of the Vedic Gods, the Ashwini Kumaras, were born out of the wound, just as Chiron the Wounded Healer Centaur was born as a result of the sexual wound in the Greek version of this myth.

The second of these two great discoveries that to my mind confirm the truth of the healing nature of Chiron, is that the discovery took place on 1st November. The deeply ancient Irish Celtic Festival on the 1st November is called Samhain (now living on as Halloween). In the Irish Myth recorded in the book of Invasions, the Good God, The Dagda is recorded as mating with the ancient Irish Battle Goddess, The Morrigan, every Samhain, so as to secure the sovereignty of our land, and it is a time when the veils between the worlds thin, and death and rebirth and Healing energies are some of the things that cross the gap between the Worlds into our Worlds, so I think this feature of the date of the discovery of Chiron also adds to the proof of the Truth of Chiron’s Healing Nature.

See the video about these two important discoveries that lend further weight to the healing declaration power of Chirion in our birth Charts:

So, first let’s look very briefly at how is Chiron interpreted in our astrology birth chart, and then go on to study the Myth of Chiron.

Well, as regards the astrological interpretation of Chiron, the position of Chiron in our western astrology birth chart reveals our own personal deep existential wound, in the healing of which we can become the Healer of others. Chiron is analysed by Sign, House and aspect. Additionally, if Chiron conjuncts or squares the Nodal axis, then the wound is deeply karmic and past life in origin.  I always also look at the position of Chiron in the Vedic birth chart, as well as the Western birth chart. This adds such illumination in addition.

So now make your task: Healing: Your Journey to meet The Centaur. On my astrology Courses, and in my Chiron Mini-Readings and Mini-Courses, you journey to meet The Centaur, and you study the individual nature of your own existential wound. And through that study, and often also through visionary journey, you reveal the nature and circumstances of your own existential wound. And through that study and visionary journey you set the healing of your existential wound in motion. Your life changes domino effect. And so, also, your healing – becomes the Healing of Others.

The Chiron Myth:

The Myth of Chiron reveals all:

Chiron was conceived from the mating of his father Cronos, or Saturn, with a Nymph named Philyra. The mating risked being discovered by the approach of Saturn’s wife Rhea just as climax was near. So Saturn changed himself into a stallion to seek to escape Rhea’s discovery but ejaculated just before he could withdraw and flee.

So the child that was born was Chiron: half horse half man: a Centaur.

Being conceived by a God, Chiron was immortal, a demigod. And being half horse, Chiron was fully instinctual as well as human.

By the time he became an adult, Chiron was a Centaur King. Just like the Ashwini Healer twins of Vedic Astrology, for the Vedic Aryan Indians are also one of the Indo-European peoples like the Greeks born out of sexual panic, and the mating of a stallion, Chiron too was a peerless Healer. He was also the greatest philosopher and teacher.

And isn’t it so significant that on the day of his discovery, the planetoid, Chiron was at 9 deg Vedic Aries, in Ashwini Nakshatra, the Nakshatra or lunar sign in Vedic Astrology that is ruled over by the Ashwini Kumaras: the Healer Twins!!!

But to return to the Myth:

By the time he became an adult, Chiron lived in a cave on Mount Pelion, and his students included Achilles, Jason and Asclepius, who himself became the greatest Healer, so successful that Zeus feared usurpation of the Gods’ primacy and killed him with a thunderbolt.

However, Chiron received a terrible and unendurable wound. Hercules accidentally shot Chiron with a poisoned arrow while Hercules was out hunting. Chiron was consumed by pain. But as an immortal Demigod, he could not find release by dying.

Zeus wanted Chiron to go to Hell because of the disgrace to the immortals: Chiron shamed the Gods. But only death could bring release from such a wound, and Zeus could not permit an immortal God to die.

In the end Chiron in terrible agony did an unthinkable deal with Zeus. Chiron agreed, though immortal, to be allowed to enter the realm of the Dead, to go to the underworld of Hades, and thus the Immortals would no longer be shamed by the presence of suffering. But the trade-off condition was that Zeus must do the unthinkable: He must release Prometheus.

Now, Prometheus was a Titan. In former times, Prometheus had stolen fire from Heaven, and he had given it to humans. The Gods were furious at such a priceless gift as Fire to mortals.

As consequence, Zeus had sentenced Prometheus to be chained to a rock suffering daily agony as his entrails were eaten out by vultures, with the same thing to happening again, day after day for eternity, because the sentence was that Prometheus’ entrails would be re-grown and ready for the next day’s torture – because he had given Fire to humanity.

And so Chiron voluntary went down into the Hell of death, and as consequence, Prometheus was freed and mankind kept their priceless gift. And is it not a coroboration of the Truth of the healing nature of Chiron, that the myth recounts death leading to rebirth, and descent into the underworld, and the discovery date of Chiron was Samhain: Novemebr 1st: Halloween!

But to return to the Myth: the twist to the tale is that Chiron’s death in the underworld was therefore: a death and rebirth.  The ‘death’ of the divine Healer led to the emancipation and rebirth of man.

Fire and light were gifted to humanity. Humanity was freed up to explore its greatness. Humanity was healed and empowered and illumined: inspired by Fire from Heaven. The Fire principle is crucial to humanity.

Through Chiron’s self-sacrificialness, we can heal our wound and thus heal others.

Since the planetoid, Chiron, was discovered at Samhain, the feast of the dead: on 1st November 1977, at 10.00 am, at Pasadena, California, by Charles Kowal, Chiron on that date at 3 deg western Taurus, there has been an explosion in alternative healing, rebellious healing arts have flourished outside the realm of healing chained within Saturn’s rings: the Medicare establishment and the huge pharmaceutical companies.

Psychotherapy flowered. So many humans were brought freely or kicking and screaming out of the earlier socially prescribed work and gender roles, and confining identities of Victorian states and Religions enforced by priest bureaucracies.

Freedom was born in healing. Humans could seek to live more in tune with their real natures. For example, there was menswork.

And especially for example: shamanism, the oldest bedrock spirituality was reborn and entered the mainstream consciousness.

And the great point about shamanism is that so often the shamanic Healer is and always was: The Wounded Healer.

The Shamanic Healer so often was the individual who, through healing his own wound, became the healer of others.

The wound would often be through a heredity defect, or through withdrawal from society through terrible long illness.

But by going through this death and rebirth experience, like the Centaur of old, the shamanic Healer heals others and heals his tribe.

So now your task is to journey to meet The Centaur.

On my astrology Courses, and in my Chiron Mini-Readings and Mini-Courses, you journey to meet The Centaur, and you study the individual nature of your own existential wound.

And through that study and often also through visionary journey you have revealed the nature and circumstances of your own existential wound.

And through that study and visionary journey you set the healing of your existential wound in motion. Your life changes domino effect.

And so your healing – becomes the Healing of Others.

New Moon or Solar Eclipse, 26.2.17

New Moon or Solar Eclipse, 26.2.17

There is a New Moon or Solar Eclipse, on 26.2.17, at 14.58 hrs.
To find out the time of the Eclipse where you live, you can use:
The western and Vedic Astrology charts are below, at the foot of this Blog.

For this eclipse, Sun, Moon, Ketu (South Node), Neptune and Mercury are all in the western astrology sign of Pisces.
And, most significantly, all of these planets are in Shatabishak Nakshatra (Lunar Sign) in Vedic Astrology.

If you have planets in this area especially, this eclipse will have a big effect in your life.

Shatabishak is a difficult and very complicated Nakshatra, but if you are prepared to be open, and to face, admit and slay your demons, then I predict that you will have a great breakthrough and enlargement in your healing energies and intuitions.

Here is my video about the eclipse:

And for more on the nature of Shatabishak Nakshatra, see my YouTube video:

So what I am predicting for those directly affected by this eclipse is a breakthrough energy of growth of healing and intuition- and on many levels.

This is because Neptune, Ketu and Mercury are all conjunct each other in this solar eclipse in this nakshatra, so there’s great intuitive potential here.

And also I’m making this prediction due to the position of Jupiter, in the healer sign of Vedic Virgo.

But please note that this development will manifest in your life as a Fledgling energy of ‘one step at a time’.

There is great force in this eclipse, what with the Uranus/Mars conjunction being opposition Jupiter, and with both ends of this opposition being T-square Pluto! But although there has already been an earthquake in Turkey – already as the Eclipse energies are building, I don’t think this T-square will generally manifest violently in the world, but it will instead  be a courageous energy for those with planets affected by it: A ‘Truth Conquers All’ energy.

N.B. The energy is more about benefiting if you are open and if you are prepared to admit your mistakes and blocks, and so in that way: gaining ‘The World’, rather than the violent side manifesting as actual violence.

For those with planets affected, I think the violent side of this Eclipse more creates what I would call a Hero’s Challenge!

And those caught in Jupiter-Uranus opposition could well experience great gains.

So, see the charts in western and Vedic Astrology for this eclipse, below, and see if your planets personally are affected.

Before going into the nitty-gritty detail of the energies of this eclipse, the details of my readings and courses are as follows:
My Astrology Readings website, offering both western and Vedic Astrology Readings is:
And there’s also my Courses in both western and Vedic Astrology:

Do remember that a New Moon is always a time for withdrawing, and Shatabishak is about healing as well. Saturn has only just crossed the sensitive and very difficult Gandanta zone between Vedic Scoprio and Vedic Sagittarius, so many will still be feeling that, and also feeling Saturn’s confusing shift from Tamasic Nakshatras to Sattvic Nakshatras.  Saturn grinds away at patterns we must let go of. And Uranus moves towards the Gandanta again: the Vedic Pisces to Vedic Aries Gandanta, and some will be feeling that, already. Eclipses are sensitive, uneasy, destabilising, chaotic times of at least two days – and with consequences!

Neptune and Ketu have been conjunct in Vedic Aquarius, in Shatabishak for some time, and their gift can be intuition. A Neptune Ketu conjunction occurs every 18 years, and Neptune and Ketu last formed an eclipse in Aquarius in 1849. The consequence then was that a new way of spirituality was pervading western society: Spiritualists, Theosophical Society, Madame Blavatsky, Emerson and Thoreau.

Ketu (South node) and Mercury are caught up in this eclipse: Jnana Karaka: enlightenment indicator, if you are open: The conceptual mind shattered by the éclat of potential spiritual realisation: the limits of concepts.

Jupiter is opposition Uranus, with Mars exactly conjunct Uranus! And the opposition is T-square Pluto! Breakthrough! Shock and upset. Jupiter is conjunct Spica. Auspicious. In health sign Virgo. Retrograde: health issues, organisation of detail. I am really sorting out my teeth!

Uranus will occupy the Vedic Pisces-Aries Gandanta for the third of four times: 28.6.16, 31.8.16, 8.4.17 and 2.1.18 (just short of the zero point). This can turn your life over if you have planets here, and it contributes to the mystic spiritual healing energy eclat.

Jupiter and Venus are occupying opposite Vedic signs of Virgo and Pisces for the next four months: The two Gurus. And Venus is the spark of life and beauty. The Jupiter retrograde Transit period is at the same time as the long transit of Venus, exalted in Pisces (ruled by Jupiter) from January 27 – May 30, 2017. Venus will be retrograde and opposite to retrograde Jupiter from March 4 – April 15, 2017. Venus and Mars are conjunct in Vedic Pisces, but i say not as easy as western astrology usually says. Venus prefers gentler company. But note that Venus is exalted in Pisces, and so much stronger than Mars in this sign.

Here is the western astrology chart for the Eclipse of 26th February 2017:
